Supervisors approve HVAC mini-split for township firehall

PA ONEIDA — Oneida Township Supervisors voted to accept a proposal to install a new mini-split HVAC system in the township firehall. The board authorized Eichelberger HVAC to install the heating and cooling system at the municipal building. Supervisor James Ferrenberg also addressed a property owner's sewer connection questions, explaining that any extension to the system must be approved by the township engineer and must run through the right of way for township access.
Fire and Rescue reported 33 incidents in April, with 5 occurring in the township, and monthly expenses of $43,834.22.
